Description
Dog Breed: Corgi / Mixed. Bo is your typical 9 month old Corgi (or Borgi) puppy. He is extremely interested in learning and listens very well. His recall is beautiful. Bo loves dogs of all types and sizes and respects them as well. Bo loves to run with his foster pack and is super fast for having such short legs. Bo's best life would consist of a very active person who will include him in all that life has to offer and who has herding breed experience. Bo crates like a champ. A fenced yard is required for this active little guy. He uses a doggie door and potty training is going well. Bo would be a perfect sport dog as he is interested in playing frisbee/rollers and will soon be introduced to water sports. He walks well on leash and is excited when he sees his walking harness come out. Bo is an exceptional little guy. His new person must be prepared to have a constant shadow as Bo will always be in your business. He has not been tested with cats and kids 12+ may be considered. If you’re interested in meeting Bo, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at .corgisandfriends/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Bo is 20#, recently neutered, utd on vax, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $475 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
