Skye is a purebred German Shepherd with all the classic features included: intelligence, loyalty, athleticism, devotion, and just a tiny bit of bossiness. She takes her responsibilities seriously, and her number one responsibility is keeping track of where her human is at all times. Need personal space? Skye isn't familiar with that concept. Need a shadow? Skye has that covered. Need a best friend who thinks you're the most important thing in the universe? That's Skye. Like many shepherds, she's smart enough to learn just about anything and athletic enough to keep up with an active lifestyle. She's also strong on leash and currently believes that walks are a team sport where she gets to choose the pace. She's looking for a home that will continue her training and help her channel all that shepherd brainpower into productive pursuits. Skye would love a family that understands and appreciates the wonderful weirdness of German Shepherds—the dogs who are equal parts protector, adventure buddy, therapist, and overly involved life coach.
