Sydney is an approximate 18 month old (as of May 2026) female Chihuahua mix who was rescued from a shelter while heavily pregnant, carrying her babies with the quiet strength of a mama who refused to give up. She was lucky enough to be rescued just in time to deliver her babies in the safety of a foster home. Sydney has been a wonderful mother to her two adorable puppies. Her pups have since been weaned and she is now looking for a place to call home. Sydney is only fourteen pounds. Her coat is unforgettable — she looks like someone splattered black paint across a white canvas, a living piece of abstract art with a heart just as striking. And her personality? Pure sunshine. Sydney is super friendly, warm with everyone she meets, and grateful for every bit of kindness sent her way. Despite everything she’s been through, she radiates sweetness. She leans in for affection, wags her tail with her whole body, and seems genuinely relieved to be somewhere she can finally exhale. She is unfazed by passing cars, people and walks great on a leash. She enjoys car rides and taking strolls around town. She could easily adapt to city living. She is dog, cat and kid friendly.
