Description
Dog Breed: Rottweiler. Adoption Fee: 300. Meet Sheeba, a loving 5 year old rottweiler girl who has a huge heart and an even bigger love for cuddles. She is happiest when she is by your side getting attention, or when she is playing with another dog. Although she may be a little shy at first when meeting new people, once she feels comfortable, her sweet, energetic, and affectionate personality comes out. Sheeba was originally from texas, and was adopted once but was recently returned through no fault of her own after her owner experienced medical issues and could no longer care for her. Despite this Sheeba has remained incredibly loving and is ready for a fresh start with her forever family. She is people and dog friendly, and her foster family says that she loves having another dog to play with. She would thrive in a home where she can get plenty of attention, and playtime with a canine friend. Sheeba is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccinations. She is crate trained and knows all basic commands. All she is missing is a family to call her own! Apply on our web site: 4theloveofdog/adopt.html

Overview:
The Rottweiler is a powerful and intelligent breed, originating in Germany where they were primarily used to drive cattle and guard property. Physically, they are robust dogs, instantly recognizable by their medium-large size, strong build, and striking black coat with distinct tan markings, particularly on the muzzle, chest, and legs. Their temperament, when properly socialized and trained, is one of unwavering loyalty and confidence; they are known for being calm and courageous, making them excellent guardians. While generally good with children within their own family, their protective instincts mean they require supervision with strangers. Due to their size and need for regular exercise and mental stimulation, Rottweilers are generally not ideal for apartment living and thrive in homes with secure yards. Health-wise, they can be predisposed to conditions such as hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as certain heart conditions, necessitating responsible breeding practices and regular veterinary check-ups.
