Description
Dog Breed: Brittany (medium coat). Hi, I'm Rosie Rae... and I am an expert at Loving My People! Rosie Rae: Professional Snuggler • Loyal Sidekick • Expert Couch Companion ️ If you're looking for a shadow, a cuddle buddy, a best friend, and a professional snuggler all rolled into one adorable package, then we are a perfect match together! I’m a sweet, loving girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for my people. I will be your loyal best friend who wants nothing more than to be by your side. I am a spayed 7 yr 35 lb beautiful orange/white Brittany girl. Healthy, and utd on all my vaccines, heartworm and tick negative and on heartworm prevention. I adore attention, cuddles, and spending time with my humans. Whether it’s curling up next to you on the couch, following you from room to room, or sneaking in beside you at bedtime, I’m happiest when I’m close to the people I love. In fact, when I stayed with some neighbors for a few hours, I decided the husband looked comfy and promptly curled up next to him for the night! I’m a well-mannered girl who knows my basic commands, walks nicely on a leash, has excellent recall, and settles quietly in my crate. Around the house, I’m calm, easygoing, and happy just hanging out. Of course, I also enjoy getting outside for a good sniff, a little exercise, and checking out all the exciting smells the world has to offer. Because I love my people so much, I’d really like to be the center of your world. I don’t mind being the only dog where I can enjoy all the love, attention, belly rubs, and snuggle time for myself. Cats are just way too interesting for me, so a cat-free home is a must. What I’m dreaming of is simple: a family to love, a comfy spot beside you, and a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and companionship. The adoption fee for TX/Rosie Rae, who lives in McKinney, TX is $350, (which helps to offset our vetting and allows NBRAN to rescue more of these wonderful family members. Overview:
The Brittany is a beloved and versatile gun dog, originating from the Brittany province of France in the 17th century. These medium-sized dogs are instantly recognizable by their athletic build, often appearing leggy and agile, with a dense, flat or wavy coat that comes in orange and white, or liver and white. Their intelligent and eager-to-please nature makes them incredibly trainable and responsive. Temperamentally, Brittanys are known for being friendly, energetic, and affectionate, making them excellent companions for active families. While their moderate size might suggest apartment living, their high energy levels and need for regular exercise mean they thrive best in homes with a yard or access to plenty of outdoor space. Generally a healthy breed, they can be predisposed to certain conditions like hip and elbow dysplasia, and sometimes epilepsy, so responsible breeding practices are crucial. With proper training and socialization, a Brittany will undoubtedly enrich the lives of its devoted family.
