Through no fault of his own, he has found himself searching for a new family and a new place to belong. Despite the changes and uncertainty in his life, Buddy has remained an incredibly sweet and gentle soul. He has shown himself to be friendly and appears to get along well with other dogs. More than anything, he seems to be missing the comfort and stability of a home environment. Buddy has been freshly groomed, is medically complete, and is ready to start the next chapter of his life. What he needs now is a family willing to open their hearts and give him the love, security, and companionship he once knew. This handsome boy isn't asking for much—just a soft place to rest, people to love, and a home to call his own again. After losing everything familiar, Buddy deserves the chance to find comfort and happiness with a family who will cherish him. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support.
