Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Hound / Mixed. Hello, my name is Millie! I am an approximately 3-month-old female Lab mix puppy who was found as a stray near Old Millwood Road and Camp Creek. Unfortunately, my owners never came forward to reclaim me, so I am now available for adoption and ready to find a loving forever home. As a young puppy, I am still learning about the world around me and will need a family committed to providing training, socialization, and guidance as I grow. Raising a puppy requires time, patience, and dedication, but the reward is a lifetime of love and companionship. I am currently being treated for ringworm, a common and treatable fungal skin infection. I am taking medication for the next 30 days, and if I am adopted before treatment is complete, I will go home with any remaining medication and instructions to finish my care at home. Because I am still growing and developing, my future size, temperament, and activity level cannot be guaranteed. Adopters should be prepared for all the joys and responsibilities that come with raising a puppy. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination, and have received my Bordetella and DAPPV vaccinations. An approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
