Dog Breed: American Bulldog / Mixed (short coat). MEET MIDAS 7 years old • Staffordshire / American Bulldog mix Some dogs ask for very little in life. Midas is one of them. A soft place to rest. A person to follow around. A few chest scratches (his absolute favorite). Time to sniff around the yard and simply enjoy being near the people he loves. Midas is a gentle, quiet soul who has been through more than most dogs ever should. He was previously adopted and had what we hoped would be his forever home—but life changed, and through no fault of his own, he has found himself back in rescue again. Midas also lives with a permanent injury to his back left leg from an accident. He has a limp, but don’t tell him that means he’s any less deserving. He still enjoys exploring, soaking up attention, and being close to his people. His heart works perfectly—and it’s full of love. Senior dogs are special in a way that’s hard to explain until you’ve loved one. They settle beside you, appreciate the little things, and make every day feel calmer and fuller.
