Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). A note from Robinson's Shelter Paws Volunteer on her big day out! We took a lot of car rides and she did AMAZING! She laid down the entire time and was super calm. She would make a great roadtrip partner! We stopped for pup cups and then we walked around my neighborhoodâs garage sale. She interacted with a few children and did very well with them. She's shy meeting new people at first and then quickly gets over and you're her best friend! Especially if they give her food! She bonded with me almost instantly and would always come up to me for scratches and pets. Lastly we went to a pet store and everyone loved her! The owner gave us her order on the house (a toy and a treat) and also through in an extra bag of treats! The best thing about Robinson was that she was very âgo with a flowâ. She was great in the car, ordering at Dutch bros, walking around the store. She was also very calm when people and kids were aroundâ¦very sociable.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
