Dog Breed: Hound / Mixed (short coat). Boone SCAS is an approximately 6-month-old handsome Red Tick Hound mix who weighs around 35 pounds. Boone came into the shelter with his two siblings (Cedar SCAS now adopted and Junebug SCAS still available for adoption). The man who owned these three sweet dogs was threatening to harm them, so we stepped in to save their lives. All 3 of these babies are all so sweet. Boone is good with children and other dogs. Boone is the definition of a goofy, easy-going hound dog. He is athletic and likes to play, enjoys fetch, and making new friends. But at the end of the day, the one thing he loves most is to crawl into a big comfy bed and take a nap. All it would take is one good nap on a nice sofa and this boy would love you forever! Boone is quite an intelligent guy, too, and is already crate-trained, house-trained, and walks well on a leash. Boone would prefer a family that will give him time to exercise and play to burn off his puppy energy while reinforcing proper training as he still does have some mouthy, playful tendencies from puppyhood and is a little too curious about things on the counter. He has the biggest, cutest puppy dog eyes, and we assure you it would be hard to tell this little love &ldquo;No&rdquo;. He is neutered, microchipped, and has all his vaccinations.
