Dog Breed: Doberman Pinscher / Mixed (medium coat). Lionel came into the shelter pretty shy and scared, but give him a little patience, you'll get to watch something special: confidence slowly start to shine. This handsome Doberman Pinscher mix puppy came to the shelter with his siblings, Lana A053937 and Lorenzo A053902. When you first meet Lionel, he's likely to hang back and take everything in from a safe distance. He's a quiet observer who prefers to move at his own pace. Once he gets outside and realizes there's no pressure, Lionel starts to show his curious side. He enjoys wandering around, sniffing all the new smells, and exploring the world one cautious step at a time. He's happiest when he's given a little space to figure things out for himself. As he becomes more comfortable, his tail started wagging more and more, and he happily accepted gentle pets, soaking up the kindness even if he wasn't quite ready to ask for it. Right now, Lionel is focused on learning that people can be safe, gentle, and fun to be around. Sometimes the quietest puppies have the biggest transformations, and Lionel is ready for someone to help him discover just how brave he can be.
