Description
Dog Breed: Unknown breed. We a situation where in my 17-year-old daughter received a puppy from someone who was giving away free puppies in a Walmart parking lot. The puppy is 7 weeks old as per their owners. And they mentioned the breed is Pit Bull–Boxer mix. Since my daughter got the puppy without any consensus from us, we were in a shock and are not prepared to keep him. She got the puppy on Sunday. I hope you can take this puppy and find a suitable owners/home who are better equipped and motivated to care for this puppy. Puppy is lovely, adorable, energetic and healthy. However, we don't have any other details from their owners. They did mention, it's not vaccinated yet because it's too young for that. We live in Forsyth County at 4095 Griffin Trail Way Cumming GA 30041 and attached is a picture of the puppy and here is a short video as we photos.app.goo.gl/gTDM9QEe2DVm9JMf6. Assuming you can take this puppy, please let us know the next steps. Really appreciate your help. **** Breed: Pit Bull–Boxer mix **** Pet Link: .nokillnetwork/adoption/pet_detail.php?petid=2198847&flag=1

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
