Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed. To the Moon and Back Puppies are ready to find loving forever homes! Their breed mix is a mystery, but one thing is certain — they are absolutely adorable. Since their parentage is unknown, we cannot predict how large they will grow. These sweet pups had a rough start in life after being found abandoned on the side of the road, but they have not let that dampen their joyful spirits. They are active, playful, and full of puppy energy. Each puppy is very outgoing, independent, and loves people. Because of their enthusiasm and energy level, homes with older children would be best. A securely fenced yard would be excellent for them to safely run, play, and explore. If you are looking for a fun-loving companion and are ready for all the excitement that comes with raising a puppy, one of these little cuties may be the perfect addition to your family. A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
