They excel in activities like agility, running, and obedience training. -`Velcro` Loyalty: They form an intense, deep bond with one specific human, though they are loving toward their broader family. They tend to be wary and naturally protective against strangers. -Herding Instinct: Driven to control movement, they may attempt to herd children, other pets, or even moving vehicles, and will often nip at heels to guide them. This requires early training to correct. -Extreme Intelligence: While they learn commands and solve puzzles incredibly fast, their high intellect can translate to stubbornness if not properly channeled. They need consistent leadership.Vocal & Expressive: They are known for making a wide array of unique noises, including grumbles, squeals, and a notorious protective `shriek` when alerting.
