Dog Breed: Fox Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Rose is a two-year-old fox terrier mix. she and her brother Jethro were brought to us through the Stanly County sheriff's department. Rose is a very sweet and energetic girl. and has lots of potential. she very intelligent, an individual with some patience and consistency would make a fine addition to a family, she does well with most of our other dogs here and would fare fine in a home with another dog around her size and age, meet and greet would need to determine if the two would work well in a home together. she is up to date on all vaccinations, chipped, and fixed. Adoption fees for pets with Stanly County Humane Society are to cover the following: *Spay/Neuter *Heartworm/Feline Testing *All standard vaccinations *Rabies Vaccination *Microchip

In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term.
