Description
Dog Breed: Beagle / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. A WONDERFUL PUPPY FRIEND: Approx. 2-3 months old / Approx. 9 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Willow! I’m a darling little puppy who came to Mostly Mutts when I found myself in need of a wonderful home and family to raise me! I am soaking up all the love and attention from the volunteers and I heard them say that I’m now ready to find that family - I think that’s the best news ever! Plan to come meet me soon and see if I am your new furry family member! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m an adorable puppy with a sweet, fun and spunky personality! I’m always ready to play and have fun. I was quite the character during my bath, wiggling this way and that with endless puppy energy. Like many puppies, I’m currently sporting my sharp little puppy teeth, so I’ll need my new family to teach me what’s appropriate to chew as I grow. I’m the cutest, spunkiest girl and can’t wait to share all my puppy adventures with my new family! / Energy level: approx. 5-7 though this could change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. Mostly Mutts offers free lifetime training classes for all their adopted dogs, so let’s do some training together once I’ve had all my puppy shots. / You can crate train me. / I’m just a baby, so I’ll need my new family to teach me all about potty manners. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love attention, people, and all the fun that comes with being a puppy! Playing, exploring, making new friends, and being part of the action are some of my favorite things. I’m sure we’ll discover lots of things we’ll enjoy doing together once I’m in my new home. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, though like all dogs I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then we could be a good match! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Labbe, an increasingly popular designer dog breed, is a delightful mix of the outgoing Beagle and the loyal Labrador Retriever. Originating from the desire to combine the best traits of both parents, Labbes are known for their medium size, typically weighing between 30-70 pounds, and possessing a sturdy, athletic build. Their coats are usually short and dense, varying in color like their Lab parents, and their ears often retain the Beagle's charming flop. Temperamentally, Labbes are renowned for being friendly, intelligent, and generally good-natured, making them excellent family pets that thrive on companionship. While adaptable, their moderate energy levels mean they benefit from regular exercise and are best suited for homes with yards, although they can adapt to apartment living with sufficient outdoor activity. Potential health considerations, inherited from their parent breeds, can include hip and elbow dysplasia, ear infections, and certain eye conditions, making responsible breeding and regular veterinary check-ups crucial for these engaging companions.
