This sweet pup has spent time in a home with young children and other dogs and has done well with both. She can be a little shy when meeting new people and may take some time to warm up, but once she trusts you, her affectionate and snuggly personality shines through. In just one week in her foster home, Penelope has already shown how smart and adaptable she is. She quickly learned her daily routine and even mastered “sit” in no time. She is eager to learn and enjoys positive attention and encouragement. As a young pup, Penelope is still working on basic house manners and crate training, so her future family should be prepared to continue helping her build confidence and learn the ropes. With consistency and patience, she is sure to thrive! If you’re looking for a loving, loyal companion who just needs a little guidance and a lot of love, Penelope may be the perfect addition to your family. If this dog has been successful in our play groups it is not a guarantee that a dog will be social with other dogs in their home or in public settings. Dogs are individuals and have personality conflicts, just like us. Play groups do not guarantee that territorial or resource guarding issues will not surface in the home. While play groups do help us get to know the dog's better, once they are adopted their new environments and new relationships will influence their behavior in ways we cannot predict.
