Description
Dog Breed: Husky / Labrador Retriever / Mixed. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 6/21/26 Courtesy post: Meet Mia! Mia is an 8-week-old Husky mix (half Husky, half super mutt, dad is said to be Lab/Husky/Shepherd) with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She currently weighs 10 pounds. Best guess is roughly 60 pounds full grown. She’s incredibly smart and already catching on to potty training. For such a young puppy, she settles down quickly in both her crate and playpen and is learning routines beautifully. Mia is playful, silly, and full of puppy charm, but she also loves to cuddle and snuggle up with her people. She’s quite the little conversationalist, already showing off the cutest tiny Husky howl. When you talk to her, she listens intently, responding with sweet head tilts and the most adorable expressive eyebrows, as if she's trying to understand every word. Because of her Husky heritage, Mia will do best in an active home that can provide plenty of exercise, training, and mental stimulation as she grows. She’s eager to learn, loves being part of the action, and has all the makings of an incredible companion. If you're looking for a smart, affectionate, and entertaining puppy who will keep you smiling every day, Mia just might be your perfect match. ❤️ In New England To apply, please fill out the adoption app: form.jotform/212690945239059 email apps.aasrgmail with any questions. Breed overview
Overview:
The Labsky, a charming crossbreed of the Labrador Retriever and the Siberian Husky, originated from the desire to combine the best traits of its beloved parent breeds. Physically, they are medium to large dogs, often exhibiting a fascinating blend of features; expect a robust build, varying coat colors and textures (from sleek black to fluffy merle), and captivating eye colors, sometimes even heterochromia. Temperamentally, Labskies are known for being intelligent, energetic, and loyal. They thrive on human companionship and require significant mental and physical stimulation to prevent boredom, making them best suited for active families or individuals with a large, securely fenced yard. Due to their energy levels and potential for vocalization, they are generally not ideal for apartment living. While typically healthy, they can inherit predispositions to conditions seen in their parent breeds, such as hip and elbow dysplasia, eye conditions, and certain skin allergies, so responsible breeding and regular vet check-ups are crucial.
