Description
Dog Breed: American Staffordshire Terrier. Adoption Fee: 250.00. Meet Sterling! He is such a sweet precious pup. He came to us just over a month ago from a neglectful home. He was in poor shape, but with great vet care and a loving foster mom he has grown into a healthy happy pup. He loves toys, naps, and hanging with his big dog friends. He is about 12 weeks old and will be neutered tomorrow June 22nd and available for adoption soon after. He is current on age appropriate vaccines, heartworm prevention, and microchipped. Sterling has been working on his manners and house training. Just like any young pup he will require continued training. Hes a smart boy and eager to learn and please his people. He is currently in a foster home here in Shreveport, LA. We do adopt to the Northeast often and have transport options available.

They are adaptable and can thrive in various living situations, including apartments, as long as they receive adequate daily exercise and mental stimulation. Health-wise, they are generally robust, but some individuals may be prone to hip and elbow dysplasia, as well as certain heart conditions.
