ROO - LABRADOR RETRIEVER / POODLE (UNKNOWN TYPE) / MIXED DOG FOR ADOPTION

Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Poodle (unknown type) / Mixed. PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet. 6/22 Roo is a darling little girl who we rescued as a stray. She was very scared and timid, but once we caught her she was a marshmallow. Roo has the perfect amount of scruff to be adorable. She is a young girl, maybe 8 months old, and still acts very puppyish. She weighs about 45 lbs but still has some growing/filling out to do. We do not know her breed but maybe Lab/Poodle? We only have her looks to go by. She is low-moderate energy level, but she does love to play with her squeaky toys. She is wonderful with other dogs and is very submissive, even to little ankle biter types. She longs for a doggy friend to play with and is very gentle. She would be an excellent addition for a small, playful dog, or a gentle larger playful dog. I have not seen her around cats but I can't imagine that she would be anything other than sweet and gentle. That is her whole personality. Roo will be starting the Paws in Prison program on Monday, 6/22. While there, she will learn basic obedience and hopefully gain some confidence. She will be there for 8 weeks, and we hope to have a home ready for her once she graduates. She is spayed, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and on flea/tick and heartworm prevention. Located in AR. She is available to adopters here in Arkansas, but also available to New England adopters with transport available. This includes microchip, spay/neuter, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
