Fendi is available for adoption. She is 6 months old and weighs 5 lbs. Her adoption fee is $1,200.00. Meet Fendi! Fendi is a six-month-old Yorkie puppy with a big personality packed into her tiny five-pound frame. This sweet little girl has a wonderful disposition — she is affectionate, curious, and loves being around her people. Don’t let her size fool you though! When it’s playtime, Fendi is full of energy and has a fierce little spirit. She loves her toys and plays with the enthusiasm of a much bigger dog. Her playful personality and adorable confidence make her a joy to watch. Fendi is fully vaccinated and will be spayed soon. She is looking for a loving forever home where she can continue to grow, play, and be the happy little companion she was meant to be. We’re working on training and pee pad training, which is going well. Her ideal forever home would have another younger dog that will be able to help teach Fendi the lay of the land. An owner that works from home or is at home most of the day. She will require a fenced in yard and will need to go to puppy training classes. If you’re looking for a tiny best friend with a sweet heart and a fun, lively personality, Fendi may be the perfect match! Fendi is staying with Mike in Philadelphia, PA.

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
