Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier (short coat). Big T âEggnogâ Meet Big T, the kindest boy who loves humans and snacks Life may not have always been kind to this handsome boy â he arrived at the shelter very underweight. But Big T is looking toward the future, and itâs already getting brighter. Thanks to a carefully monitored feeding plan and plenty of love, heâs already starting to gain weight and fill out! Big T is as sweet as they come. He loves treats (which makes snack time his favorite time), knows how to sit like a gentleman, and walks beautifully on leash. He also may be house-trained, making sure to go potty several times while out and about. His favorite thing, though? People. Big T loves giving attention to his human friends and soaking up affection in return. When he spotted another dog through the fence, he barely gave them a second glance â he was much more interested in spending time with his people and sniffing. If you're looking for a kind soul whoâs ready to leave his past behind and start his next chapter with a family of his own, Big T is waiting to meet you. Playgroup notes: Semi-steerable, semi-engaged, sexually motivated, tolerant, semi-submissive Watch my video: .instagram/reel/DaTNqfSua0n/?igsh=Nm00Y2xxZ2hjdDdj

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
