Description
Dog Breed: Terrier (medium coat). Milo is a delightful well-behaved pup! He rides in the car well but might need a little help getting up into an SUV or truck. He takes treats gently and waits patiently for you to pay the cheese tax. He is definitely house trained and he's great about doing his business quickly once he gets outside into the yard. He loves napping in his dog bed. He's a happy go lucky pup who will follow you around the house. Everyone is his friend! He loves a good walk and getting lots of sniffs in and is very easy to walk. He does well at the groomers, but didn't especially like his nails being trimmed. He loves playing with other pups!! He is an opportunist and isn't above stealing a co-worker's sandwich off his desk. Most importantly he has the cutest and largest ears I have ever seen on a dog his size!

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
