Dog Breed: Basset Hound / Terrier / Mixed. Meet Lobu! Lobu is a sweet, loving girl who has done an amazing job raising her 10 babies and is now ready to find a family of her very own—one that will adore her and spoil her the way she deserves! Lobu can be a little tentative when meeting new men, which makes us think she may not have had many positive experiences with them before coming into rescue. With patience and kindness, she has learned to trust her foster dad and continues to gain confidence every day. She currently coexists well with the other dogs in her foster home, but she would much prefer to be the only dog and have all of her family's attention to herself. Surprisingly, despite being an enthusiastic squirrel chaser, Lobu does great with cats! She's fully house-trained and has excellent manners in the home. One thing she does not enjoy is being kenneled—but fortunately, she doesn't need one. Lobu is not destructive when left out and is perfectly content relaxing around the house. While toys aren't really her thing, she does enjoy having a good bone to chew on. Most of all, Lobu loves being near her people and soaking up affection. This truly sweet girl has spent her life caring for others. Now it's her turn to be cared for. We know her perfect family is out there, and we can't wait for Lobu to find the loving home she deserves. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption. The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. We do not have a physical location where you can stop by to visit the animals - we require the completion of an Adoption Request Form prior to meeting any of our adoptable pets in foster care.
