Description
Dog Breed: Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed. Adoption Fee: $400. NCQ I can be adopted today but I cannot go home until 7/9/26 after my neuter appointment. My adoption fee is $400 (card $418) which includes: 1st 2 distemper vaccines (adopter covers 3rd & 4th) Rabies vaccine at 16 weeks of age at Shoreline Vet Hospital ($25 office fee will be charged for establishing care) Microchip Spay/Neuter (will be completed before animal can go home). I am the sweetest boy, but the world can be a little scary for me at first I can be timid around new people and need a little time to warm up, but once I trust you, you'll have a best friend for life I absolutely LOVE other dogs, especially ones that will play with me ⚡ I have lots of puppy energy and enjoy running, playing, and having fun Snacks are one of my favorite things, and once I'm comfortable, I love toys too! Still working on potty training since I'm not fully vaccinated and the outside world is still a little overwhelming With patience, love, and a confident canine buddy, I'll blossom into an amazing companion ✨ If you're willing to give me a little time, I promise I'm worth the wait!

A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
