Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Mixed (short coat). Adoption Fee: 550. Spaghetti Jack Russell Terrier Mix | Male | Born ~March 16, 2025 | Small Meet Spaghetti — pure sweetness wrapped up in a small, curious little package! This adorable JRT mix came into the world just a few months ago, and he's already winning hearts with his gentle, easygoing nature. Spaghetti is one of those rare puppies who seems to have skipped the chaos and gone straight to charming. He's quiet and calm, but don't let that fool you — he's got a playful, inquisitive spirit and loves exploring his world. He hasn't quite found his bark yet, so if you're looking for a pup who won't wake the neighbors, Spaghetti might be your guy. He's already proving to be a rockstar in the home. He sleeps through the night in his crate without a peep, and his potty training is coming along beautifully — he's even started scratching at the door to let you know when he needs to go out. Spaghetti loves snuggles and being held just as much as he loves a good play session. He's social and dog-friendly, and would absolutely thrive in a home with another dog to learn from and romp around with. Spaghetti would love a home that: Has another calm, playful dog to be his buddy and mentor Has time for puppy training and consistency Wants a snuggly and adventurous little companion has kids 6 or older He's going to make someone incredibly lucky. Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
