Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed. ***Derrick is being fostered by a great family near Ringoes, NJ. An application for the adoption of Derrick can be submitted at socorescue (no need to register or login). Questions concerning Derrick and/or our adoption process should be sent to socorescue8gmail; please do not call the Rescue's number.*** Derrick and his four littermates were found as strays by a family in a neighboring county. They gladly held onto the pups until we had space to take them in. You can't tell by his pictures, but Derrick is actually a very adventurous and well-socialized pup (he's just a little camera shy!). He gets along great with other dogs and loves to play. His gentle personality makes him a great candidate for any family looking to add a new dog to their home. Derrick is now up to date on his annual vaccinations, de-wormings , monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives and other vet care. He's also already been neutered. His adopter should be prepared to offer him house, leash and other basic training.
