Description
Dog Breed: Siberian Husky / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed (medium coat). * Treat-motivated and eager to learn * Sweet boy who loves people * Knows commands and enjoys working with his person Sinatra is a people-loving pup who's happiest making new friends - especially if they come with treats. He's food motivated, knows some commands, and enjoys working with his handler, making him a fun dog to continue training with. He's easy to harness and responds well to treats and positive reinforcement. While he can be a little cautious in busy environments, especially around large trucks, he shows little interest in passing people or other dogs during his walks. He simply wants to see the world with his human. Sinatra is looking for a home that will continue building his confidence while enjoying all the love, smarts, and enthusiasm he has to offer. Come meet this sweet Husky boy!

Breed overview
Overview:
The Gerberian Shepsky is a hybrid of the German Shepherd Dog and Siberian Husky, emerging in North America as a modern companion with working-dog roots. Typically medium to large, they feature an athletic build, erect ears, and a dense double coat, often with striking blue or heterochromatic eyes. Their temperament blends loyalty, intelligence, and independence, making them affectionate yet occasionally headstrong. With very high energy, they thrive on daily exercise and structured training, suiting active families more than apartment living without ample outdoor time. Early socialization supports good manners with children and other pets. Notable health considerations include potential hip dysplasia and eye issues; regular vet care, weight management, and coat grooming help maintain well-being. Their typical lifespan ranges around 10–13 years, rewarding committed owners with a loyal, adventurous companion.
