Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Rex is with our partner rescue in LA and can come to NJ with an approved foster or adopter. Not all superheroes wear capes—some just open their front door to a puppy who needs a chance. Meet Rex and Bean, two irresistibly sweet pittie/lab mix pups who were found abandoned with their siblings on the side of a busy highway. It’s the kind of story that makes your heart drop—but these two didn’t let it define them. These 2 boys are frienldy, affectionate and playful. Right now, they’re safe in boarding at a veterinary office. And while the staff is kind and loving, it’s no place for puppies to learn, grow, and just be goofy little dogs. They’re at that perfect age where everything is new and exciting—and they’re just waiting for someone to show them the good parts of life. They deserve grass under their paws, toys scattered across a living room, and someone who laughs when they trip over their own big puppy feet. Rex and Bean are ready to trade kennel walls for couch cuddles! He is fixed, micro-chipped, and up to date on vaccines. His adoption donation is $600. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinar y care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
