Description
Dog Breed: Shih Tzu / Poodle (Toy) / Mixed (long coat). Raven is an adorable little shi-poo puppy, born 3/4/26. He has puppy papers to be registered with UABR (United All Breeds Registry.) He was born in a commercial kennel, then consigned to a dog breeder auction as a potential stud dog. Instead, he was purchased into rescue so he can spend his life in a lap rather than in a breeder's pen. He is a happy, playful, friendly puppy who gets along well with other pups. He is microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and wormings. Because he is too young to neuter, he will be placed with a neuter contract. When proof of surgery is received, adopter will be mailed a rebate check for $50.00 His adoption fee is $350.00 If you would like to adopt Raven, email me at thistle88centurytel and request an application.

Breed overview
Overview:
The ShihPoo is a charming and increasingly popular designer breed, resulting from the cross between a Shih Tzu and a Toy Poodle. Originating from the desire to combine the best traits of both parent breeds, the ShihPoo is known for its adorable looks and affectionate nature. Physically, they are small dogs, typically weighing between 7-20 pounds, boasting a soft, wavy to curly coat that can come in a multitude of colors. This coat is often described as hypoallergenic, making them a good choice for individuals with allergies, though regular grooming is essential to prevent matting. Temperamentally, ShihPoos are generally sweet, playful, and intelligent, inheriting the Poodle's trainability and the Shih Tzu's companionable spirit. They thrive on human interaction and are well-suited for family life and apartment living due to their small size and relatively moderate exercise needs. While generally healthy, potential health considerations can include patellar luxation, eye problems, and dental issues, inherited from their parent breeds, making reputable breeding crucial for prospective owners.
