Dog Breed: Cocker Spaniel / Maltese / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Violet! This darling 10-year-old girl weighs just 18 pounds and has so much love to give. Sadly, Violet was abandoned at a shelter, and no one ever came to claim her. When she arrived, her coat was severely overgrown and matted, so she had to be shaved down. Now she's ready for a fresh start and a family who will cherish her. Violet is as sweet as they come. She loves everyone she meets, gets along well with other dogs, and has a gentle, affectionate personality that makes her a joy to be around. Violet is currently being treated for double cherry eye, and her corrective surgery has already been scheduled. She will need to remain on eye drops for the rest of her life, but she handles her care well. She appears to be house-trained, though, as with any dog adjusting to a new home, she may need a little patience and consistency while she settles into a new routine. Violet is simply looking for someone to love her and appreciate the wonderful little dog she is. In return, she'll reward you with endless affection, loyalty, and companionship.
