Dog Breed: Great Pyrenees / Mixed. Patriot is a 6-month-old Great Pyrenees puppy who recently made his way to NYC from a shelter and is just beginning to settle into foster care. Weighing about 22 pounds, this handsome boy has the sweetest nature and the most unique coloring that makes him impossible to miss. Patriot is incredibly gentle and friendly with both people and other dogs, but the big city is still a little overwhelming for him. New sights, sounds, and experiences can make him shy at first, and he needs a little extra time to build confidence and learn that the world isn't so scary. What Patriot really needs is a patient home that will let him move at his own pace. A confident dog buddy would be a huge bonus, helping him navigate new situations and continue coming out of his shell. Despite being a little timid, Patriot is a truly sweet puppy with so much potential. Every day he grows a little braver, and it's easy to see the loving, loyal companion he's going to become.
