Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Adoption Fee: $350. Meet Odie. Just like Garfield's doggy buddy in the comic strip, this Odie is super loveable, good natured, friendly, silly, loyal, fun-loving, and sometimes a bit goofy. 18-month-old Odie is a yellow Lab mix who sports white leggings. At 69 pounds, he is quite an athlete and loves his walks--squirrels grab his attention but neighborhood foxes walk by without capturing Odie's interest. In his quieter moments, Odie is a sun-worshipper who enjoys bird watching while relaxing outside. Having him close by in the yard helps his foster mom's weeding chores almost seem pleasant--well, almost! His foster family laughs when Odie is in the kitchen and he stares out the window--they just aren't quite sure what is grabbing his attention! Odie is house-and crate-trained, micro-chipped, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. His bags are packed (yep--with a Phillies logo) and he is ready to settle in with a forever family who can't wait to spend summer with a new buddy.
