Description
Dog Breed: Terrier / Fox Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). **This is a courtesy listing for Frosted Faces, Vintage Paws Animal Rescue** Meet Boba Tea! This adorable little gal was taken in as an owner surrender after her last litter of puppies were born. All five puppies were also taken in to rescue and will be adoptable in the near future. Boba Tea is approximately four-years-old and weighs around nine-pounds. She is some sort of Terrier mix and has the cutest wiry fur that stands up on her head and back in a mohawk-style. Boba Tea is a happy and friendly dog. She enjoys meeting new people and getting lots of attention and pets. She is social with other dogs and wouldn't mind a buddy in her new home to sniff around with. Bring the whole family in to say hello to Boba Tea! Boba's adoption fee includes spay surgery, vaccinations up to date including Rabies certificate, and microchip. Email chitownrescuegmail for more information/meet and greet appointment.

Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
