Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois / German Shepherd Dog / Mixed. Meet Chandler! Chandler is an approximately 2-year-old Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix weighing around 69 pounds who is looking for an active, experienced home. This handsome, intelligent boy was found as a stray in Rockwall and is ready for a fresh start with a family committed to providing exercise, mental enrichment, structure, and continued training. Chandler is still settling into the shelter, and we're learning more about his personality each day. At this time, he is not a match for a home with another male dog. He may do well with a calm female dog, but a meet and greet is required prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $125 and includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, and basic boosters. Chandler is heartworm positive, but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, his treatment is sponsored. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
