Dog Breed: Siberian Husky. Hi, I'm Loki! I'm quite mellow and enjoy just lounging around, especially if I can be near you. I do great on a leash, and would love to explore with you! I'm smart and loyal, quickly learning new tricks or routines. I already know how to sit, and shake! I do well with other mellow dogs who respect my space and share my calm approach to life. I would also prefer to live in a house without kids under the age of 12, due to my calm & occasionally reserved nature. If you're looking for a loyal and smart companion, I'm your guy. Why not bring me home? Good news, I qualify for Foster to Adopt! Please speak to a SPCA staff member for more information. The Siberian Husky is a striking and beloved breed, originating from Northeast Asia where they were bred by the Chukchi people for pulling sleds over long distances in harsh conditions. Their temperament is typically friendly, outgoing, and playful, making them generally good with children and other dogs. However, their independent and sometimes stubborn nature, coupled with a strong prey drive, means consistent training and secure containment are essential.
