Dog Breed: American Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Ox! Ox is a gentle giant with a soft heart and an even softer spot for his people. While he can be a little cautious when meeting someone new, a few tasty treats and a kind voice quickly win him over. Once he's comfortable, Ox happily accepts affection, leans into pets, and will even ask for more when the attention stops. This handsome boy has been consistently easy to handle, walks nicely on leash, is house trained, and knows how to sit. Staff have found him to be friendly, cooperative, and tolerant during handling, even while receiving treatment for irritated ears and healing wounds around his head. He takes treats gently and enjoys spending time with his human friends. Ox is looking for a home where he can relax and enjoy the simple things in life: leisurely walks, cozy naps, and plenty of love. He has shown that he forms strong bonds with people and is ready to find a family of his own who will help him continue to build confidence and feel safe.
