Alfie has a big personality packed into a little body!Alfie came to the shelter as a stray, so we don't know much about his past. What we do know is that he absolutely loves people and thrives on attention. Whether you're relaxing on the couch or heading out on an adventure, Alfie is happiest when he's with his favorite humans.One of Alfie's cutest quirks is that when he wants to go outside, he'll pick up his leash to let you know it's time for an adventure. It's just one of the many ways this smart, charming little guy will make you smile!Alfie walks nicely on a leash and appears to have some previous training. While we can't guarantee he's house-trained, he has shown signs that he may be housebroken. As a young, energetic dog, Alfie would thrive with an active family or individual who can provide daily exercise, mental enrichment, and plenty of opportunities to keep both his mind and body engaged.Because Alfie arrived as a stray, we don't know how he does with other dogs, cats, or children. However, based on his friendly, social personality, we believe he has the potential to do well in a variety of home environments with slow, proper introductions.If you're looking for a fun-loving companion with a big heart, endless personality, and an adorable way of asking for walks, Alfie may be the perfect addition to your family. If you are interested in meeting Alfie, please visit the shelter during open adoption hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–4 PM Thursday: 10 AM–12:30 PM & 2 PM–6:30 PM Saturday: 9 AM–1 PM If you do not own your home, please bring written consent from the property owner allowing a dog on the property. If you have another dog at home, please plan to bring them for a meet-and-greet before completing the adoption. Adoption fees: 6 months and younger: $250 7 months–5 years: $200 6–10 years: $150 11 years and older: $100 Watch for adoption specials!
