He’s happiest in the company of other dogs and absolutely needs at least one confident canine companion to help guide him and model trust in people. Must have: A calm, patient home with at least one confident dog and a secure fenced yard. Exercise: Moderate — daily walks and exploration. Best with: Adults or families who understand shy dogs and can give him time to adjust. Not ideal for: Homes without other dogs or those seeking an instantly social pet. Energy level: Medium — gentle and curious. Benjamin is explorative and enjoys checking out new spaces. He’s still learning how to ask for affection but accepts pets and grooming calmly. He bonds most deeply at bedtime — once he’s on the bed, he becomes affectionate and insistent on receiving pets. He’s growing braver every day and will thrive with patience and understanding.
