Description
Dog Breed: Belgian Shepherd Malinois / Mixed. Hey there, I'm Capone! I'm a 2-year-old guy with good looks, a big personality, and an even bigger heart. If you're looking for a best friend to share adventures and couch time with, I think we'd make a pretty great team! A few things about me: I'm dog friendly and enjoy making new canine friends. ❤️ I absolutely love people and am always happy to meet someone new. I walk well on a leash. I might get a little excited when we first head out (there's so much to see!), but I settle down quickly and enjoy the stroll. I'm a fun, happy boy who likes being part of whatever is going on. Whether it's exploring a new trail, taking a neighborhood walk, or just hanging out at home, I'm happiest when I'm with my people. At the end of the day, I'd love nothing more than to relax by your side and enjoy being part of the family. Could I be the loyal companion you've been looking for? Breed overview
Overview:
A mongrel, mutt, or mixed-breed dog, is a dog that is not the result of breeding within an existing breed or to modify or create a breed and belongs to no breed. In the United States, the term "mixed-breed" is a favored synonym over "mongrel" among many who wish to avoid negative connotations associated with the latter term. The implication that such dogs must be a mix of defined breeds may stem from an inverted understanding of the origins of dog breeds. Pure breeds have been, for the most part, artificially created from random-bred populations by human selective breeding with the purpose of enhancing desired physical, behavioral, or temperamental characteristics. Dogs that are not purebred are not necessarily a mix of such defined breeds. Therefore, among experts and fans of such dogs, "Mongrel" is still the preferred term.
