This adorable 1-year-old 17# Terrier mix is full of happiness, love, and enthusiasm for life. She has never met a stranger and absolutely loves everyone and everything she encounters. Whether it's making new human friends or greeting other dogs with a wagging tail, Ivy is always ready to spread a little joy. Ivy is a well-mannered young lady who already has a great foundation. She is house broken, knows how to use the dog door, walks beautifully on a leash, and does well in her kennel. She's eager to please and enjoys being part of whatever her family is doing. One of Ivy's favorite things is meeting new people and exploring new places. She would love an active family that will include her on outings, adventures, and errands so she can continue putting her social butterfly skills to good use. Whether it's a stroll through the park, a trip to a pet-friendly store, or a ride in the car, Ivy is happiest when she's by your side. You must be committed to housebreaking, age-appropriate enrichment and exercise, leash training, grooming needs, and positive socialization. Her adoption fee is $150. This includes her spay surgery, rabies vaccination, Nobivac® Canine 1-DAPP vaccination, Nobivac® Intra-Trac 3 vaccination, Drontal® Plus, IDEXX SNAP® 4Dx Plus Test, Tri-Heart® Plus chewable tablet, 24PetWatch® microchip, and leash and collar. Our adoption events are held every other Saturday at Petco located in the Northwoods Shopping Center at 18138 San Pedro Ave, San Antonio TX 78232. Our group focuses on assisting open admission shelters in South Texas where over 32,000 dogs and cats are euthanized each year. Our puppies and dogs are completely vetted and live in foster homes. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and tested for heartworm disease. All adoptions include one month of flea and heartworm preventative and a leash and collar. We are an all-volunteer organization and do not currently have the resources to process out-of-state adoptions.
