This gentle, labby girl was rescued from a Louisiana shelter along with her littermates. At first, they were all frightened and unsure, but in her foster home, Tessa has slowly come out of her shell. She’s still shy with new people and unfamiliar situations, so she’ll need a patient family who can give her time to bond and feel safe. Tessa thrives with calm routines, soft voices, and steady guidance. She uses a pet door for potty breaks in her foster home and stays in a babygated area when unsupervised — she’s learning quickly and loves having a predictable rhythm to her day. Requirements: • Fencedin backyard • Adult home during the day • No crating — use a puppy pen or baby gate She’s vaccinated and microchipped. She will not be spayed due to recent studies showing that largerbreed dogs should not be altered at a young age.
