Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (short coat). Charlotte is a sweet girl who is currently with our partner rescue in Louisiana but hoping to come to NJ soon. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters. Meet Charlotte Some dogs just have that “everyone is my best friend” kind of personality… and Charlotte is definitely one of them. At just 7 months old and around 40 pounds (we expect she’ll top out around 45), she’s the perfect medium-sized Lab mix with a gorgeous, shiny black coat and a heart just as beautiful. Charlotte tested negative for heartworm and is up to date on vaccines. She will be spayed and microchipped prior to arrival to NJ. Her adoption donation is $600. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
