Dog Breed: Dachshund / Spaniel / Mixed. Meet Fern! Fern is a 13-week-old puppy who is believed to be a Spaniel/Dachshund/Terrier mix. Along with her sister, Clover, she came into our care after a difficult start in life. Despite her rough beginnings, Fern has embraced puppyhood with enthusiasm and is quickly learning what it means to feel safe and loved. Fern and Clover could easily be mistaken for twins, and they share the same adventurous puppy spirit. Both girls are full of energy and curiosity, always eager to see what each new day brings. Fern is especially enthusiastic about exploring her surroundings and investigating anything within reach. Like many puppies her age, she is in her "busy puppy" stage—climbing, chewing, and discovering the world one step at a time. When she's all tired out, though, Fern loves to snuggle up for cuddles and soak up all the affection she can get. Fern will thrive in a home that is ready for all the joy and excitement that comes with raising a young puppy and can continue her training, socialization, and learning.
