Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Meet Chavo! Have you ever seen a head this big? Chavo’s adorable oversized noggin is guaranteed to make you smile—but it’s his sweet personality that’s already stealing hearts. Even though he was very scared and cautious when he first arrived as a stray at the shelter, he soon gained confidence, and the volunteers said Chavo was a very sweet and friendly boy. Also, Chavo was kenneled with other dogs while at the shelter, and he got along with them all. Chavo is new to Labradors and Friends, so we’re still getting to know all of his unique features and favorite things. So far, we’ve learned that he’s a friendly, easygoing guy who loves meeting people, takes treats gently, enjoys his walks, and has remained calm around other dogs. One of the best things about Chavo is simply how fun he is to be around. He has a happy presence that makes you smile, and he seems genuinely excited to spend time with his people. As we continue learning more about him, we’ll be sure to share updates—but we have a feeling this handsome boy won’t be waiting long for his forever family.
