Dog Breed: Chihuahua / Terrier / Mixed. At just 4 years old and 8lbs, Boosie is the definition of a gentle soul. This sweet, quiet Chihuahua is happiest curled up in a warm lap, soaking up all the love and cuddles he can get. When he's not snuggling with his people, you'll often find him lovingly grooming his big pit bull brother, Blue—a bond that's as adorable as it is heartwarming. Every now and then, his other brother, Webbie, convinces him to join in on a playful romp. Boosie was surrendered with his two brothers, but they are not bonded and can be adopted separately. That said, it would be wonderful if Boosie and Blue could stay together, as they share a special friendship. Boosie would also likely be very happy in a home that already has a friendly larger dog to shower with affection. Boosie is house-trained, crate-trained, and gets along well with dogs of all sizes. He has not been tested with cats, but his calm, gentle nature suggests he could do well with a respectful feline companion. Because of his tiny size, he would do best in a home with older children who can handle him gently. He walks nicely on a leash, enjoys car rides, and won't complain if you scoop him up and carry him once in a while—being close to his people is one of his favorite places to be.
