Dog Breed: Labrador Retriever / Mixed (medium coat). Foster or forever home wanted, meet Cedric. The days leading up to the dreaded 4th of July holiday are dangerous for dogs that have been in overcrowded shelters for any length of time. Cedric came into the San Bernardino shelter after being confiscated on June 21st. Cedric would be held until the county deemed him available for rescue or adoption. Sadly, as with many in the overcrowded shelters these days, Cedric would become ill with an upper respiratory infection which put him at risk. As soon as he was made available, we went to grab him so we could get him the medical care he needed. Cedric has fully recovered and is doing well. The shelter staff said Cedric is your normal sweet and friendly puppy. Cedric has been kenneled with other dogs during his stay and has been great with them all.
