Description
Dog Breed: Australian Shepherd / Great Pyrenees / Mixed (medium coat). Dream dog alert! Meet Babe She’s pretty, very affectionate, attentive, learns best with petsies and praise, and is highly engaged with her humans. If Babe were able to crawl inside you to be closer she would, but she’ll suffice with snuggling in your lap every time you slow down and sit down. When you’re on the move she’s your shadow: helping you with the gardening, assisting with making supper, entertaining the kids while you take a bubble bath. Whatever you need her to do, Babe is your girl! She’s gentle, kind, eager, and loving. She’s just turned one year old, walks nice on the leash, is house trained, and loves getting brushed. Babe is great with dogs and friendly with all ages of people. She’s an Aussie mix, perfectly sized at around 45 pounds, and she’s fixed and up to date on shots. Babe also has a microchip and she’s current on flea and tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $75. What Babe loves most is being close, connecting, loving and being loved. If you’re looking for your shadow, you’ve found her To meet this beautiful Babe any day of the week reach out to us at 575-740-0643 or message here on Facebook.

Breed overview
Overview:
The Aussie Pyrenees is a striking hybrid that combines the herding instincts of the Australian Shepherd with the guardian nature of the Great Pyrenees. Originating as a designer mix, this breed is known for its large size, often weighing between 50–110 pounds, with a thick double coat that can come in a variety of colors including white, cream, brindle, and tri-color. Their temperament blends loyalty, intelligence, and protectiveness, making them devoted family companions who thrive in active households. While affectionate and gentle with children, they can be wary of strangers, so early socialization is important. Due to their size and energy, they are best suited for homes with spacious yards rather than apartments. With proper care, they enjoy a lifespan of 10–15 years, though owners should watch for potential health concerns such as hip dysplasia and joint issues common to large breeds.
