Weighing 41 pounds (full grown weight is estimated to be under 60 pounds), JT is the perfect medium-sized companion with a wonderful medium energy level, making him just as happy joining you for outdoor adventures as he is relaxing by your side at the end of the day. His short tricolor coat, bright, curious eyes, and eager-to-please personality make him impossible not to love, and his intelligence shines through in everything he does. For such a young pup, JT has already accomplished so much. He is house trained, dog door trained, leash trained. He has a remarkable foundation that will make his transition into a new home much easier. His willingness to learn and his cooperative nature show just how smart and devoted he is, and he is sure to continue impressing his future family as he grows. He is still currently working on his crate training. It is important to remember that although JT is housetrained, accidents can occur while adjusting to a new home environment. Since coming into rescue, JT has truly blossomed. He has become a friendly, affectionate young dog who loves spending time with kids and adults and making new friends, although his history with cats is unknown. He would love nothing more than a family who enjoys taking leisurely neighborhood walks, exploring hiking trails, or visiting the local dog park where he can stretch his legs and play. After a fun-filled day, he will happily settle onto a cozy dog bed for a nap or, if you will allow it, snuggle right beside you on the couch while soaking up all the love and attention he can get. JT has so much life ahead of him and an even bigger heart to share. All he is missing is a forever home where he can continue to thrive, create wonderful memories, and become a loyal best friend to someone.
