Dog Breed: English Bulldog (short coat). Adoption Fee: 300. ATTENTION: All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We do NOT have a kennel with multiple dogs. We will make every attempt to process all applications within 3 business days of receipt. // // Meet Tank! He is a 3 year old, 42 lb English Bulldog. Tank is a super affectionate and friendly couch potato/home body. He loves cuddles and play wrestling, but not so much a fan of walking and can be pretty stubborn about it. He does love the occasional zoomies in the yard though. He has done exceptionally well with women/men, new visitors, young children, and with puppies and other dogs. Not an aggressive bone in his body. He has shown no signs of food or toy aggression, and barely barks. He does well in a crate when needed and quickly learned the potty routine in our home. He is a gem! English Bulldogs are known to have numerous health and skin allergy issues but are also one of the most loyal breeds you will ever meet. Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with the bulldog breed. While Tank is very healthy right now, he will need an owner who is aware of the future medical costs associated with a bulldog (potentially thousands per year). As Tank ages, he could may need daily maintenance medication such as ear drops to prevent ear infections. Tank will need be to be kept on a high-quality diet to help with his digestion and allergies. Tank is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccinations. His adoption fee is $300. All Second Chance Dog Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, are up to date on vaccines and have microchips prior to adoption. Adoption fees vary depending on age of dog.
